A Bear

I realized that I'm not posting any animals designs so this week this will be the only thing I'll do! I start it last night with a bear and for a 2 hours painting I'm kinda proud of it! 

But it still suck... More to come!

Shopping girls

I was so bored this week that I gave myself a little challenge. It was to come up with 4 characters and give them personalities, then put them all in a movie-like scene were they interact with each other. I saw some student in Calarts doing this and  I tough why not do it for fun!

So I did those chiks!!Who are having a pretty nice shopping night downtown! :D

Glen Keane's Resignation

I did this quick little caricature because I just heard that after nearly 38 years at the company, long time Disney Animator and Artist Glen Keane resigns today…

I couldn’t believe it at first… This guy as drawn my entire life. With him and his magnificent characters I knew that I wanted to make animation a part of my life.

 I’ll miss you…but thank you so much for all of your artistic creations… You have inspired a tons of persons over the world with your art.

You deserved your vacations more then everyone!

Random Caricatures

Right now I’m practicing making caricatures. I’ve took some random celebs that were in my head and I tried to do a caricature of them. I’m still not good enough. My goal is to be able represent somebody a few number lines. A little bit like Al Hirschfeld. But I think it’s not quite like I want it. Still more work to do on this…

Dr.Yark

Hey There! Heres a character that I've done a long time ago for my Character Design class. His name is Dr.Yark.

And since alot of college are on strike here in Montreal me and my dear friend P-Oudy who is studying in 3D animation had the idea of making collab togheter! He asked me if he could modelize one of my characters all he needed was some quick sketches of it. So I did some.

After one week he finished his head and for someone whos is beginning in 3D I think it's a pretty good start! Anyway that was super duper nice to work with him and I really love it!

Fake Poster

I'm so bored since my college is in stike I just can't wait to get back to school...Anyway...I did this thing today and I like so much movie posters that I've made a fake one with it. Right next to it you have the original colored version! More Random things to come!

Night drawing!

Monday night, I was doodling on Photoshop all sorts of things and after a few minutes I had something like this drawing below... It wasn't the most beautiful thing I had done, but it gave me the idea of drawing a forest. (What an original idea!!)

That night I really had nothing to do (like every night ). So I pushed this little sketch until it becomes nice enough  for me and after a few hours (8 infact) I've come  to this. I  just added those two characters on witch I'm working on the designs right now.

The boy the picture is an other and much older version of Coddy, but I'm still not satisfied with it.

I juste started watching The Office series and Damn! Noting as made me laugh as much as this tv show! It’s hilarious! So I did a little Caricature of Dwight cause he’s face is just to funny!
